Went on a weekday so the line wasn't too bad. It was half price that day so that was great. I didn't realize how much is in the abbey. I honeatly thought we'd only see the church. We got lots more!! Many royalty are entombed there. The abbey was built in 980AD. And a lot of the artifacts from back hen are there. Its like a museum and a church all in one.

To really appreciate all that you’ll see at this magnificent church, take a tour. Or at the very least get the headphone tour. Plan on a couple of hours as you learn the history of England’s monarchy. After your through watch a You Tube video of Kate and William’s wedding. Your were there!

not sure of what to expect, but OMGGG. all the glamour of royalty, and the somberness of being in the midst of tombs of so many historical figures. saw where citizen are knighted.
If you go, light a candle, say a prayer, and leave a little donation. ITS A CHURCH AFTERALL!!!

The entrance is free with London Pass. The free audio and video guide is very good and helpful. We had to wait in a long queue to get entered.
The abbey is full of so many things to see. This is the place where coronations and burials of the monarchs take place since 1066. There are many chapels where the kings and queens are buried. You can walk on the grave of many famous persons such as Sir Issac Newton, Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, etc. Only the grave of the unnamed soldier is never walked on.
You can see the coronation chair here at the end of the tour.
Overall it is magnificent and huge. It took us almost one hour to enter due to the long queue and one and half hour to complete the whole tour.
