Stunningly beautiful. Wish I had the money to visit more frequently. Seats in the gods still give a fantastic view. One of my favourite venues.

We attended an opera there while visiting. We sat upstairs - no problem seeing or hearing. We took a tour a few days later. Also enjoyable.

We've been to many operas, in Ottawa, Vienna, and now, London. The sets at the ROH were unbelievable. the best we've seen yet. And the performance was beyond all expectation. I wish I hadn't listened to the manager (who I had called and asked for permission to take pictures BEFORE or AFTER the performance), who said all photos in the house were prohibited, and anyone caught would be removed from the theatre. Well, many others were taking such pictures. All in all, a great evening.
