We visited the place and could see it from outside. It was a good picture point. but very crowded at all times.

The Palace is an impressive building surrounded by nice parks, gardens and fountains. You will share the experience with thousands of other tourists, but it's worth a look.

Of course you can only see the palace from a distance but I’m still glad we went. Windsor Castle allows you to go inside and see the chapel and the state apartments so is a better choice. Of course you have to pay to go into Windsor Castle.

Many years ago as a despatch-rider, I went to Buckingham Palace to deliver a parcel and somehow managed to find myself in the middle of it.

At the time I told the security guard who ushered me out that I would be back and that came true last week.

It is truly spectacular experience and one that is also a little nerve-racking being the centre of soft power.

If you get the chance to visit when the chance arises, do so, you won't forget it.

If you are visiting London, this would definitely on your list.
But make sure you come here on the day of the changing of guards.
2 hours of show, you get to see the regiments dressed up in their finest marching up and down the Mall Road.

Do this tour if you get the chance! Ticketing and security was efficient. What was really nice is that we got an audio guide that gave information for each room. I really enjoyed this better than a traditional tour with a guide because it was quiet, other people weren't distracting, and you can move at your own pace. You visit about 15 rooms and exit through the back gardens, which was nice to see. The £24 ticket price is well worth it (maybe not for kids, though)! Do it!

Impressive site, beautiful and somehow mysterious . Very long lines for the tour. Don't try to go there without a tour ticket, and make sure that it is open.

One of the most beautiful buildings in London and should be the number one sight-seeing spot for anyone coming to London.

Love to run, or walk, through Green Park, across Buckingham Palace to St James Park before the tourists arrive. It's amazing and incentive to get some exercise ☺

It's a beautiful palace to see. Impressive guards are at the gate of the palace. London is a great city.
