Owner description: Open 7 days a week, it is the perfect antidote to the high street. We bring together small producers with local creatives and artisans, original independent retailers and a few well-known brands under one historic roof. Our daily market is home to a selection of carefully chosen traders, craftsmen, artists and artisans alike, picked for the quality of their product, and the stories they have to tell. We are interested in how things are designed, the creative process and the interesting people who produce the products you’ll find here. We champion quality and responsibly sourced products and we assess each operator individually on this basis. In the centre of the market floor you will find our ten fully fitted kitchens where we showcase exceptional contemporary and authentic cooking. We are proud to offer new levels of quality and variety in the dishes prepared by our chefs and operators, many of whom have already established great

While there are lots of items for sale that look nice and unique, many of them are over-priced. If you’re hungry there are lots of restaurants in and around and there’s a free toilet as well. Not really a ‘must-see’.

This market always has nice stalls and is a great place to get lovely gifts.
I like the food choices here such as Bleecker St, and the eating areas have been greatly improved.
There was a fake Big Issue seller pretending to sell magazines to customers eating, but just took the money and ran off. He did look homeless though.

Wow, there is so much going on here it’s a total labyrinth of activity! Going back to my youth, my experience of markets were dirty, cheap and shoddy goods for sale, but now! This is a great place with lots going on from street food to luxury items for sale! Love this place so, if you get the chance have a walk down and browse away, fantastic atmosphere, thank you Spitalfields

I used to love visiting Covent Garden. I now find Spitalfields much more relaxing and convenient.
It has lots of restaurants and shops at fair prices. Instead of taking my visitors to Covent Garden which seems too crowded, I now bring them to Spitalfields and they all love it.
Lots of food stands from all over the world as well as known restaurant chains to choose from.
Nice place to buy a unique gift as well.
