Being an avid anorak into all sorts of music ,particularly jaaaaaaaaaaaazzz,,I always endeavour to pay the market a visit on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month to have a rifle through the bargains on offer.

The pop up restaurant caravans always offer you a free taster of their fare so if you indulged every day one could possibly resemble Mr Creosote.

Also noticed today the smashing fish pond on the boundary of the market full of goldfish.

Only thing that was lacking was a few red eared terrapins on the lily pads!!!

Thank David A

The venue is great and the food selection was great. But as for the shopping, there was a fair amount for women and that’s it. Very little original art or craft, not much for kids to see.
I think there are better times to go when there are specific art shows or antiques, but you need to check the schedule BEFORE you go. The day we went it was very mediocre.

Inside the market there are plenty of small eating places, the stalls and stall holders are must visit and are pleased to talk about their products and even happier to sell them.
I could spend hours and a fortune here.
Around the market are numerous eateries, pubs and shops.
Streets around are busy but vehicle access seems restricted, so virtually pedestrian in places.
Well worth a visit and maybe save for a rainy day.

Nice day out! Good vibe avout this place, lots of different food to try, interesting pieces to buy. Loved art work around the market as well. Very relaxing atmosphere. Just near Liverpool street station, easy to excess. If its raining dont worry, its covered area ;)

I wanted to visit Leadenhall, dragged my wife on a long walk to here after mixing them up. But it was worth it. The place really had a buzz about it. Live music, plenty of stalls selling street food and ethnic clothing. Later visited leadenhall. And have to say preferred here.

Thank paul h
