We visited London with our 2 teen children and they loved the underground. Purchasing the Oyster card is the way to go if you’ll be visiting for more than 2-3 days. Easy on and off the Tube without having to buy a ticket each time. Apple maps is VERY accurate and gives you precise instructions to how to get to the closest station to where to go once you exit the Underground. “Mind the Gap!”

The Underground train system, or “The Tube” is a necessity for getting around London without spending a fortune. Our family of five figured it out quickly and had our Oyster Cards loaded and ready for travel.

The public train system really is amazing and makes it so much easier to get to places once you figure it out.

I've been on many subways and Underground is by far the best. Its clean, efficient and fast. You never have to wait mode than 5 minutes. Most of the time we walked up right as it got there. The signage all over is easy to understand and master. After day two I felt I could go anywhere and I did!
