Description: The Bolton is right in the heart of Kensington, meaning we've got our finger on the pulse of everything rushing by - but we also provide a comfortable haven for you to gather together and enjoy a few drinks from our superb range. Good hospitality has always been a cornerstone of our pub on Earls Court Road, which was built in 1892 as The Bolton Hotel - and our original features include a double-height ceiling and snug fireplace, as well as a function room for parties. We're ideally located for trips to Earls Court exhibition centre, the Natural History Museum and Chelsea Football Ground. So how about lunch or dinner after a few hours of exploring?

“Never got served?! Too bad because it looked good.”

We attempted to eat O'Neills last night but was never able to get served. My family of 5 (3 teen daughters, my wife and I) walked in and waited a few minutes at the door trying to decide if we should seat ourselves. After asking the server we sat at a table by the side door where the server repeatedly walked by us for 15 minutes, getting drinks for others, delivering food, and cleaning tables, not once acknowledging us or making eye contact. The pub was less than a quarter full so I can't imagine she was swamped. I wish I knew if and how I had annoyed her in some way because that at least would explain it.
