Burak saved our trip in London (we were cancelled by a dishonest owner on another website just 48 hours before we go !)... Thanks to him, we had such a good time there ! Cansu welcomed us and was very kind with us. The flat is very well equiped (kitchen, beds...) and very next to a subway, and closed to bus stop. We were 5 (me, my husband, and my children aged 9, 14 and 19) and everything was perfect for us ! We would go back to Heart of Trendy Angel as soon as we go back to London !

We stayed here whilst we were getting our place renovated round the corner. The flat and location are perfect for families! I have a 2 year old and 4 year old and have lived in the area for 8 years. Burak who manages the flat was really helpful and accommodating. The flat is super clean and a lot of the appliances and kitchen things are brand new as the guys have just taken on the flat. There is a big communal garden paved with lots of different paths perfect for running off extra energy and a playground less than 5 mins away off Braes street. On the other side of the road from the playground is new river walk a beautiful calm oasis with a gently winding path with ducks and fountains my boys love it. If you are looking for more playgrounds there is a huge one by highbury and islington sports centre (near the tube) with an area for toddlers and bigger children and there is a HUGE slide that the children love! the location is perfect! It's 10 min walk (or a bus) to Angel (northern line) and highbury and islington (Victoria line (one stop from kings cross and st Pancras) and overground). There are buses from nearby upper street and Essex road (both 5 mins away). This means you can get to pretty much all the tourist attractions within 35 mins some much quicker. And if your kids get tired it isn't too far if you need to get a taxi. There are lots of food shops close by the closest being Zaco's opposite the town hall on upper street, budgens 5 mins a long upper st towards Highbury and Islington, sainsburys 5 mins along upper st towards Angel. There are loads of cafes, restaurants and pubs near by. We like the place on Canonbury place for amazing coffee (you might bump into Keira knightly who lives around the corner), the myddleton arms for a drink (opposite braes st playground, nice beer garden), Belle Époque ( upper st) for cake, Zaffrani (cross street) for curry, elk and the woods (Camden passage) for amazing pub food including breakfast and pasha (upper st) for Turkish food. Others popular with local families are blue legume (upper st), Canonbury pub (Canonbury place big beer garden), full of beans cafe (small soft play 10 mins bus ride away on highbury park). In terms of tourist attractions for toddlers our 2 favourites are; 1) transport museum Covent Garden lots of bus, trains, tubes little bit pricey but you get an annual ticket so can come back as much as you want) 2) Cable car + boat (Good cheapish day out) . If you have a transport mad kid you could bus to Angel, northern line to bank, dlr to Royal Victoria (it's driverless so try to get the front seats and the view is amazing, bank is the first stop on dlr), cable car to Greenwich then river boat to tower bridge or further up to big Ben
