I once described the Island Grill as the 'hidden jewel in West London', but it has now been discovered, yet has not lost any of its appeal; in ambience, fine food and friendly staff.
We were looked after by Sam, who was discreetly attentive, friendly and very willing to engage in conversation and have a friendly chat. WE was at pains to make sure that we enjoyed our the culinary experience in comfortable, friendly surroundings, which had a very relaxed feel about it.
The choice on the menu ideally suits my wife's and my palate, she enjoying white meat and I, fish. The meals were well presented, with a range of taste experiences on the plate. Desserts were tantalisingly presented and finished the meal nicely.
We look forward to our next visit.
