“Great proximity to the British Museum”
Reviewed 17 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

This apartment has many, many wonderful things to recommend it and a few issues that management may want to look into.

Pros: Central location, walk to many tourist sites, nice, very large balcony, reasonable rental fees, helpful cleaning staff, washer/dryer, ease/responsiveness in booking and during our stay, great local restaurants, close to the tube.

Cons: bathroom door sticking, everything gets wet when taking a shower, no fan for air movement in a non-AC apartment, building hallways that smell of cigarette smoke (no fault of the apartment managers), possible access issues for the mobility impaired while using the steps getting into the building (I did't see a ramp outside the building but there is an elevator once inside the building to go one floor up to the apartment).

We liked staying in this apartment. We booked this apartment with the knowledge that it was very close to the British Museum. The location did not disappoint. There was about a 10 minute walk to the museum. It's also about a 1 1/2 blocks away from the Holburn tube station. We only used the station a few times since the apartment is very centrally located and we walked to most of the tourist sites.

There are a lot of local restaurant options within a few blocks walk... such as The Ship Tavern, My Old Dutch, and The Princess Louise...highly recommend each of these places.

The apartment itself is located in large apartment block. This apartment has a very large balcony that faces a central courtyard. It was decorated in a plain style which perfectly fine with us...if you expect opulence, then this is not the place for you. It was very clean. The apartment was smell free but the hallways always smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There is one large bedroom with a double bed with a semi-soft mattress (I'm finding that all the mattress during our stay in England were on the soft side). It included a small but nicely decorated kitchen with all the amenities that you would need for a stay. The living room was smaller than the online pictures indicated but it was still a good size and plenty of room for the 2 sofa futons that we also used as beds. There were plenty of pillows, sheets and duvets for all of us to use. I wish the owners would include a fan to use as it can get very stuffy inside without AC.

The bathroom is a decent size too but either the shower was too powerful or the shower glass partition was too small... every one of us would get water all over the place outside the shower. The bathroom door always was stuck when you tried to leave. I called it the "deceptive" door since it would close so easily when in the bathroom but then after trying to open it -- a few times-- we had to get another one of our party to help to open it from the outside. Most of the time, if you put your shoulder into it, you could get out. :) Management will want to look into that. I'm sorry to say that I did not bring this up during our stay and I wished I did.

But this rental is in a great location with lots to do around it. Management and housekeeping do an excellent job of welcoming you and making you feel at home.

“Very quiet, comfortable and great location”
Reviewed 29 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Was perfect for our trip to London for an evening event with our adult daughter. Husband and I slept in the spacious bedroom while she had her own space with double sofa bed in living room. Amazingly quiet for such a central location. Pret a Manger was a 2 minute walk for breakfast. Location was ideal, only 2 stops on Piccadilly line from St Pancras and then a 3 minute walk from Holborn underground. Great value for the 3 of us.

“Great - clean and tasteful - and fantastic location!”
Reviewed 17 July 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here for a weekend in April. Lovely apartment - so quiet you'd hardly believe you were in the centre of London. Clean and nicely done. We made friends with the doorman, who was hilarious. Local area is really great and feels very secure. The cleaner was there to meet us with the keys, but Dan was on hand to answer questions we had about surrounding area. Would recommend this place as a good base for accessing London.

“Wonderful balcony!”
Reviewed 11 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Loved staying here. I was working nearby so it was super handy. Dan and Andy were so helpful and really friendly. I have booked again for a holiday weekend with my partner as I loved the place so much and would like to spend more time there without working. The balcony really makes it!!! Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Dan and Andy.
