Lived in the Quarter in the 70's, On a recent visit to Liverpool we went for a look around and stumbled upon this great cafe. Had breakfast here both morning, great value for money, lovely coffee, great atmosphere. Service is a little slow, but the food is worth waiting for. Yummy sausages, and hubby had the omelette today which was delicious.

Been visiting the Quarter for years and always pop in when visiting family in Liverpool. I just got the feeling that the staff were too self absorbed. They seemed more interested in shoulder bumping each other than actually serving the customers. It’s losing it nice vibe and becoming a little pretentious. The full English breakfast was average and nice. Please please please come back down to earth and get back to the good old days!

Ate here on a Sat night with a group of friends. Lots of pizza & pasta options, but other things including really nice fish on the menu. Desserts are to die for & huge portions. Good service too. Only slight drawback is all beers are lagers with no ale (bitter type beer) options available. Good for the liver if (like me) fizzy beers aren’t for you. But it would be nice to have at least one ale on the menu.

Friday on the board of 'Specials' was 'Liverpool Scouse' and what a delight it turned out to be. Traditional fayre with beef and lamb and of course, topped with beetroot. This, added to the wonderful lunchtime atmosphere, makes visits to the Quarter all very worthwhile. Staff and service excellent.
