Booked our one nights stay through living social deals as a bit of a mid week treat for me and my boyfriend. Really friendly staff on arrival, confirmed everything we got with our package and asked when we liked to be seated for dinner. Room was huge and beautiful, gorgeous high ceilings and nice bathroom. Location is fantastic, 10 minutes walk from Liverpool museum and Albert dock, 10 mins from Liverpool one, 15 mins walk to train station. The bottle of prosecco was on ice in our room when we got back in the afternoon, and dinner was amazing and the merchants restaurant was in the most stunning room!! This was a great treat for the price we paid and would deff stay again! Thanks 62 castle street!

This was our first visit to 62 Castle street, we were here to celebrate my 30th Birthday so wanted somewhere with some character and personality as opposed to a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge etc.

The Hotel is ideally situated near Liverpool One (which was excellent for us as this is where our Dinner Reservation was) and close enough to the Town Centre but not too close to be swamped with people all night on the street outside.

We arrived prior to our check in time and the receptionist very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage so we could explore Town prior to check in.

The Room was lovely, really nice set up with the separate seating area and a very large and comfortable bed. The view onto Castle Street and over into Liverpool was really nice as well. The condiments in the room were suffice, the coffee bags were a bit fiddly and would have preferred sachets and also more milk was needed for our hot drinks.

Our only issue with the room was the shower screen in the bathroom, it slid open the opposite way every time the shower was on meaning water dripped all over the floor, however, the rest of the bathroom was lovely and spacious.

The bar service was excellent and the barman did an excellent cocktail, however the bar is only open until 11pm.

Breakfast was really nice, only minor complaint was the toast was cold and the butter was rock hard but again, this is only a minor niggle.

Staff throughout the hotel were polite, pleasant, friendly and welcoming and helpful whenever we needed anything.

Really enjoyed my time here and would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front can be noisy late evening, however this does die down shortly after midnight.

This was my first visit, and I was impressed. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the location was perfect for The Albert Dock and shopping etc.
The hotel itself was well thought out combining the original listed building with modern trendy decor. The room was excellent with absolutely everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean.
The food in the restaurant was excellent, the only downside if you can call it a downside was lack of parking at the hotel, there is a carpark close by that the hotel have a consession with so you can park at a reduced rate.
I would not hesitate booking again.
