Nice tidy room, lovely selection of draft beers, good service and a lovely breakfast to finish off the stay! Would definitely return again, only downsides are that the tv in room only plays radio (they must not have a tv license) and struggled to get the shower to run warm, but to be expected in an old building. All in all a good stay and would recommend for a moderately priced stay.

Let’s start with the positive, the manager Stephen and all of the rest of the staff were fantastic, from helping us find a place to park and giving us a parking permit for the night to the hospitality on the Saturday night we were made to feel very welcome and not once did we feel out of place here.

The room was average, the radiator in our room was held up by two hinges as we found out! It was clean but their was some paint peeling and the remote for the tv was temperamental, we couldn’t change the volume at all. We would probably stay here again when visiting Liverpool as the area is quiet and the staff are fantastic, but we would request another room.

Was due to stay on Saturday Night but just thought I'd ring to confirm booking. I'd reserved a double room 3 months earlier but they had not taken a deposit which I had found strange at the time. The Reception Guy assured me, however, I was "all booked in". Imagine my horror when I called on the Saturday Lunchtime to be told by a new manager, Stephen, that we were not on the system. In fairness to him he did try to find us alternative accommodation in Liverpool but, as you can imagine, everywhere was fully booked. Weekend ruined!

Very friendly welcome, and warm cosy clean room. The breakfast was a real treat for the veggies and carnivores in our group alike, with good range of choices and great value for money. We will certainly return.

Best thing about this hotel is definitely the breakfast, a lovely fry up. Friendly staff and a decent room, however the blinds didn't really do the job so the lights from outside lit up the room at night. Rooms were quite small.
