Checked in. Walked into our room. Took one look at the beds , the decor , the curtains the bathroom and the floor - burst into tears and stormed out. Couldn’t breathe in that room! Too small for me . Too drab and hot . Like my granny’s old flat ! We left with a room key by mistake and they charged our bank card £30 JUST FOR THE KEY!!!! Nice touch Aachen. Aachen never see myself staying here ever again if at all !

The location is near limit street station around 8 minutes. There are bus stops, metro and supermarket nearby the hotel. You can also watch to major visiting points within 20 minutes. I wanted to say the price is really low

A fab little find, great value for money, friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was delicious and tasty.
Downside rooms very hot! But we are in the middle of a heatwave so can’t be helped!
Would certainly recommend for good value

Lovely staff, great central location and a really good breakfast, very clean, unfortunately space is an issue, small rooms and narrow stairs ( ignore the vintage carpet), bad points for us are the shared bathroom facilities which was also another even narrower staircase, not great in middle of night! We had a top floor room ( no lift available) at front of hotel which was very loud traffic noise all night and light from street as only a blind ( no curtains) , pillows not good and dated bedding. Also do ignore website when booking your room, it gave options for smoking and non smoking rooms which hasn’t been available for years apparently! Wouldn’t be staying again due to issues mentioned which is a shame as I know they can’t make it bigger.

This is a three star hotel so the decor isnt modern but it has all the facilities that you need and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The staff couldnt be more helpful and friendly. It is close to the town centre but not in the middle so quieter, apart from traffic,. This was our second visit here and the owner greeted us, because my sister has walking sticks he offered us a ground floor room. There was only a view of a wall but it was much quieter there and we were only stopping one night. The breakfast is nicely cooked and the staff were very attentative
