Stayed here for 3 nights for work & was more than pleased with Apartment. Clean, Spacious & comfortable living area, coupled with excellent cooking facilities. Stayed in room 502, & despite being in the heart of the Liverpool One shopping centre, I couldn’t hear any street noise. Only criticism was that pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, I couldn’t fault it.

It’s about a 10 -15 minute walk from Lime Street Station, a stones throw away from John Lewis.

Will definitely book again.

Thank you Zoso,

Your review will be a real help to those wishing to stay somewhere in Liverpool but unsure as to whether an apartment or a hotel would be better for them. Apologies about the pillows, not sure what to suggest with that one as we tend to stick with one type of pillow so they are the same throughout the building. We also go for foam to avoid any allergy issues.

See you again soon,

Regards

Bridgestreet.

We were really pleased with our 2-bed apartment. The position was perfect for sightseeing and shopping and we were impressed with the quality and how fully it was equipped. For example, there was a hairdryer in each bedroom, lots of huge fluffy white towels, TV in each bedroom plus the lounge etc etc.We had a minor problem with no leads for the DVD player but this was sorted out by the very helpful member of staff within minutes. We had no problems with heating, if anything the apartment quickly became too hot, and we were shown how to put the hot water on boost - no problems with that at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in Liverpool. It was also extremely reasonable in price, compared to a similar standard of hotel (say a Jurys) and spotlessly clean.

Thanks for leaving a great and helpful review Bromleyfamily,

Apologies about the leads into the DVD, these and other leads can go missing from time to time but we feel that moving all of the TV and telephone equipment after each stay would probably create more issues than it solved. We keep spares at reception as you found out.
Hopefully, you and the family (from anywhere, not just Bromley) will come and visit us again in the near future.
Regards
Bridgestreet.

Cracker of apartments, right in the heart of Liverpool One. Perfect for visiting the city. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Full of ideas where to go. In the centre of the shopping area but only a short walk from the Albert Dock/Pier Head which is a must visit, its a Unesco Heritage site, also St Georges Hall is stunning as are both of the catherdrals. The Liverpool City Sights tour is also great value for money to see the city and hop on and off the bus!

Bridgestreet is very well placed, being a few hundred yards from Albert Dock, and even nearer to John Lewis. The flat was clean and well equipped.

However, the carpet in the passageway leading to the apartment was very dirty and stained.
When we arrived - in January - the heating was switched off. It took us some time after switching it on to discover that a large window, obscured by a blind, was open.
The heating in the bathroom was clearly intended to be provided through a heated towel rail, but it did not work. As a result, we had to prop open all the doors with chairs and cases, in order to share the heat from the bedroom and living room with the bathroom.
There were clear instructions provided on how to boost the hot water, which otherwise came on once a day, but even when boosted, this did not provide enough hot water to have a bath.

Altogether, a very mixed experience.

Room tip: Don't if you travel in the winter, or like a bath

Good afternoon Sally,

Thank you for taking the time to review our property.

I think your review was very fair and it does highlight the difference between the serviced apartment sector and the hotel industry. With apartments, each apartment has its own hot water system. Most in Liverpool, built after 2005 are electric and use a 150 litre tank which is energy efficient. Unfortunately, all apartment providers lease these buildings from developers who have moved to these more efficient systems that embrace a continental approach, where showers are more common than baths. The heated towel rails were turned off 6 years ago after being identified by an external agency as a health and safety risk. (Burning). It would be great to turn them on again, but that is not possible. We do however, conform with the 4 star regulations for bathrooms through the visit Britain scheme where heated towel rails are not required if there are no external windows in the bathroom.
I appreciate that everybody has their own preferences but if you can live with the situations above, you get far more space for your money than in a hotel and you get a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities.

Regards
Bridgestreet
