From Hilton to Travelodge and everything in between, from time to time we have encountered indifferent staff and predictable stays at hotel chains. Our two-night, two room booking could not have been more pleasant at Beech Mount. The rooms were quiet, very clean, the furniture slightly worn in places but very comfortable and the staff were very keen to meet and surpass our expectations. The cleaning, catering and check-in staff were all lovely - special thanks to Derek, Paula and Chef.

Free parking, an ample lounge area, games room and bar as well as a surprisingly good restaurant, there is no reason not to stay here. We ate at Arthur's, the hotel restaurant, both nights and as others have said, breakfast is well stocked and well prepared. The meal deal is excellent value.

And, great free wi-fi.

Room Tip: We were in 71 and 75. Both were quiet even though 71 is closest to door and car parking. Of course...

Stayed at the hotel for 3 Nights over the Easter Weekend. All 3 rooms were of fair size and well maintained during our stay!! The breakfast was self service with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked a bargain at £6per person. we didnt eat in the evenings as we headed into the city but everyone we spoke with in the hotel spoke highly of the evening meals. On the sunday we did have carvery at 8.99 per person and this was outstanding totaly faultless and excellent value for money!!

Bar is very reasonably priced for a hotel average £3.30 a pint compared to 5.00 ive spent in other hotel bars in Liverpool.

Being 1.5 miles from City Centre we as a party of 5 got Delta Cabs this was approx 4.75 each way but negotiate price over the phome before getting in cab and say before getting in taxi price agreed with HQ as we did find as soon as Taxi drivers knew we wasnt local they charged what they wished!!

There is a Mcdonalds just a few minutes walk from Hotel Also a few shops, Parking was free both on street and i car park! area was quiet nas

Staff are fantastic all friendly especially Jade and Paul and couldnt do enough for you.

The only point i would make to the hotel staff is they should have seperate Bar staff during busy periods we had to wait for a beer whilst people were being checked in/out or stuck on the phone. 1 extra member of staff would save a

All reasonably hotels (travelodge, premier inn etc) were very expensive the weekend we travelled, so decided to look just outside.
Position - The hotel was an £8 taxi ride from city centre.
Parking - Free parking, although their carpark was full, there was plenty of room on the street and it felt safe enough there.
Service - The staff were very friendly, although never in a great rush to serve you, especially at the bar.
Food- we bought the meal deal, breakfast, 2 course dinner and drink £19.95 and we couldn't fault the food for that price.
Rooms- our room was on the second floor. It was quite noisy with creaky floor boards and hearing lots of doors opening and shutting during the night. It was clean although there were lots of black marks on the walls. Bed was comfy, shower was small but did the job.
Overall- we would stay again, but don't think we'd stay for more than 1 night. Perfect if your having a night out in the city, and the bar is open until 3am if you want a night cap when you get back.
