“perfect little cottage”
Reviewed 29 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

What a perfect little cottage in its own pretty grounds - stunning bathroom and shower room, great location, clean and tastefully furnished... ideal for a short break, we stayed for 3 nights with everything that you need ...
No freezer and no off road parking but neither caused an issue / problem with us..
Perfect little studio lodge opposite which again looked ideal and all on ground floor which may suit us better next time as my wife found the cottage stairs a little steep in the morning with her stiff bones ..
Good local eateries, Dambuster Inn gave good selection of food and fine ales, don't bother with either of the pubs in Ingham didn't find either inviting or good - see my review on the Black Horse.... 15 minutes to Lincoln and a range of great pubs and restaurants ..

Would I stay again = Yes ..... Could I recommend = Yes .....

“Little gem in lovely location”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Picture box little Cottage in ideal location to visit Lincoln. Fantastic bedroom and bathroom. More suited to a couple rather than 4 people sharing as there is only one bedroom. Recommend eating and drinking at the dambusters inn at scampton and inn on the green in Ingham.

“Good location near Lincoln”
Reviewed 14 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Easy to find cottage from directions given by owner. Ideal as a base for visiting relatives in Lincoln and the surrounding countryside. Great facilities especially bathroom/shower room. Good stock of leaflets for visitors. Appreciated text from owner re overfly of the Vulcan jet! Attractive local pub with strong links to RAF. Excellent place to stay for either short or longer break.

“A great stay”
Reviewed 8 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed in the Hideaway, which is a self contained cottage, this sleeps two in great comfort. The giant bed is so comfortable. All the equipment in the cottage is of very good quality, and there is everything you need. The place was spotless. The bathroom equipment is first rate, sigh high quality towels. The owners are first rate, very slight problem at the start, bu they soon sorted it, beyond my expectations. It showed how much effort they put in to make the customer feel welcome, extending to the fudge and quality bath creams.
The big question, would we return, yes, already looking at next year

“Beautiful cottage in pretty village”
Reviewed 21 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We booked these 2 cottages for a girls weekend away and were absolutely delighted with them. Both immaculately presented and finished to a high standard with beautiful soft furnishings. Loved the finishing touches such as the molten brown toiletries and local fudge. The mature cottage garden shared by the cottages was very pretty and the owners kindly leant us their BBQ which meant we could spend the evening outdoors.
Scampton village is quiet and pretty and has a good local pub!
Would love to come here and stay again with my young children.
