“Lovely and spacious and good location for exploring lovely Lincoln on foot.”

This is a very nice flat with a good location in the beautiful city of Lincoln. We did not have a car but had no trouble finding our way around to all the sites. With other holiday rentals, we have appreciated being met by the owner and even finding some necessities in the fridge upon arrival. For the price of this property, we were disappointed that no such welcome was given.

I am unable to greet my guests personally as I live 5 hours away. Most people, we find, like the independence and flexibility of being able to see themselves in and this is why we had a key safe system installed. This is the first and only such request we have had.

“Great house, ideal location”
Reviewed 17 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Great house, felt at home as soon as we arrived. The house is surprisingly large once you are inside. It is superbly located for the Cathedral, Castle and shops/restaurants around them whilst the main city centre is also within walking distance - we were there 4 days and didn't move the car until we left.

Yes, the house is well situated, it is true. We regularly use it ourselves and always enjoy wandering around historic Lincoln. It has given me a different take on terraced houses - they can be delightful and we feel this one is!

“Ideal location to explore wonderful city of Lincoln and attend antique markets in Lincolshire”
Reviewed 30 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

24 Burton Road was ideally located to explore the historic city of Lincoln on foot. In addition it was only a relatively short drive to the 2 day International Lincolnshire Antiques and Collectables Fair, and the 3 day International Newark Antiques Fair with over 3000 stalls!
24 Burton was a very comfortable house and well stocked with the basics.
We would certainly book again for a stay in Lincoln and would recommend it as a holiday rental to friends.

“Conveniently positioned property for access to Lincoln centre”
Reviewed 24 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

A spacious cottage in a very convenient location. The secure off-street parking to the rear in the large garden was a must as parking in the street outside the front was time-restricted.
The cottage could greatly benefit from another wc downstairs as the only toilet was in the upstairs bathroom.
The only problem with this location is noise. Day and night traffic, with frequent boy-racers in cars and on motorcycles speeding up and down Burton road. Also late night revellers returning from the several nearby pubs walking down the road speaking loudly. As early as 3 am there was further disturbance from delivery vehicles. Because of this, sleeping soundly in the front bedroom was definitely an issue, even with the windows shut!

We have considered a downstairs lol but there is no way we can do this in a period terraced cottage.
I found the noise issue was noticeable when we went and I am writing to the police about it! Not normally as bad as this but a central location is not going to be as quiet as a rural idyll.
