How lovely that the cottage was so enjoyed. We do work hard to keep it nice and we are continuously improving so feedback is always useful.

We came to visit family in Lincoln (I'm a yellow belly, born and bred not 1/2 a mile from the property), and I have to say that we were immensely pleased with the property, the accommodation and the facilities. It is deceptively large and the rear of the property has a lovely little garden. There is off street parking which is a real bonus, and with everything so close, we parked on arrival and walked everywhere. For anyone visiting Lincoln as a tourist (you should, it's a great place) this property is ideal.

It is very close to all the major uphill attractions (Castle, Cathedral, the historic Bailgate area and Steep Hill, etc), is very close to some excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs (the Old Bakery next door is a must, the Bronze Pig a few doors away is a gem, the Greenhouse café across the road does an excellent breakfast and the Victoria Pub on Union Road has some fantastic ales and great live music), and for me personally, allowed me a very easy strole down memory lane.

Tessa was very, very helpful, and the directions and arrival instructions were perfect. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely be making it my first choice for my next visit to the old hometown.

“Consistently great”
Reviewed 2 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This was the second time we'd stayed here & again had no complaints. Everything we needed was provided & we were very comfortable. The owner is very thoughtful & even made room in the shed for our bikes. Lincoln is a lovely city with plenty to do & the house is in a great location.
