We booked online saver rate for two breakfasts and their system wanted more payments due to a glitch on their site. Thomas was rude and couldn't explain how this was possible. Threatened to cancel our booking in front of our children who became distressed. He was frustrated when we asked how this was possible as the saver rate takes full payment and our email confirmation showed we had paid for breakfast. I guess he has a problem with not knowing his own company system. Never had such a poor experience.
Good afternoon Jason,
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Leicester Fosse Park.
I'm very sorry to hear that there was a problem on your arrival with the system asking for more payment, unfortunately sometimes the payment can fail which means it would need to be paid on arrival which may be where the confusion came from but this shouldn't be a problem if your confirmation shows payment for breakfast.
We're really disappointed to hear that you found the team member to be unhelpful, please be assured this wouldn't be our intention so we have passed on your feedback to the hotel manager so they can ensure this is picked up internally and any necessary retraining is implemented.
Apologies again for your poor experience on this occasion, I really hope that the rest of your stay was enjoyable and that this hasn't put you off staying with us again, hopefully we can welcome you back again in the future for a much better stay!
This is a typical Premier Inn serving the Leicester area. Rooms are OK, and the bar, restaurant area is fine. I felt that the value of the Continental breakfast, with toast etc, was sufficient. The full English breakfast was also available, but at more cost for only a few items.
Generally hotel good, although further from M1 than anticipated. Room was good (clean spacious) but temperature (3rd floor) far too hot. Bed very comfortable room would have benefited from air conditioning!!
Food OK (not very imaginative!) but service overall was very good. and good prioces
Very disappointed with Premier Inn, Braunstone. Rooms were tired and needed a lick of paint. No telephone to contact reception?
Small things lacking no tissues, meagre amount of teabags etc. Felt a bit let down
As you would expect from a premier. All very clean and tidy. Restaurant good. Meal deal a real steal. Rooms were average size. But no air conditioning so a little stuffy. That said I had windows open and little noise
Travelling in on the M69 very easy to find.
