Very friendly and fun atmosphere, filled with all ages. Real ale is served in excellent condition, with great choice and variety of styles. Good choice of gins and spirits. The cat in gorgeous. I can't wait to be on the roof in the sunshine!

Great pub, great atmosphere, great beer. The recent addition of the water feature in the bar is a great feature. The cobs can be a bit sporadic and they have a cat.

The landlord is an affable nutter with a penchant for stupidly hot chili products.

They have a good selection of beers, and with ten hand-pulls you do have half a chance of sampling every one before passing out.

Close enough to Broood to make a visit to Broood short enough to be tolerable.

Customers from all walks of life, all sharing the common aim of attaining alcohol-induced Nirvana.

A recent visitor got so drunk that they forgot to take their cat home with them, so the cat has been re-named as "Chairman Meow" and he now lives at the pub. Please do not regard this as an invitation to unload your unwanted pets in a similar fashion.

Please be aware that there is a portal for time and space travel somewhere in this pub. I have called in for a beer or two on a few occasions and at some point been pulled up into the vortex, which then unceremoniously dumps me onto my bathroom floor at approximately five O'clock in the morning. Travelling through this portal can cause severe headaches and symptoms of travel-sickness. watch out for it.
