spent a week at this hotel at the end of August. Mel and his staff could not be more welcoming. They catered to our every need and made our stay memorable. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Im not a morning person but made an extra special effort to get up for the smashing breakfast ( not to be missed ). Our teenagers loved their stay and preferred the company of Mel to ours, he entertained them and us and rest assured we will be back for more! Dont miss out on this hidden gem x

Stayed on the Saturday night and it was great. Great friendly staff, the room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was just what we needed the next morning, filling and well cooked. Would recommend it.

I stayed at the Falkland Hotel for one night, Saturday 16th Feb. and it has to go down as one of the best B&B’s I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived Mel is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble.

I was given room 3, which is a single room with a double bed. The en-suite consisted of a toilet, sink and shower, just right for a one-night stay. As I said to him on arrival give me a box room with a bed and I would be happy a box room it wasn't but the bed was excellent, It also had a TV with free view, and the all essential tea & coffee.

The bar area is very well laid out with a pool table and flat screen TV where Mel is more than happy to put on anything you want to watch.

Breakfast was a delight, with everything you could want from a full English breakfast.

Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, You bet your life I would.

Stayed at the Falkland hotel as part of a larger group for a girlie weekend! What a great place to stay, minutes walk from the train station, quite road but close enough to everything you need in Blackpool.
Beautifully clean rooms and public areas, comfortable beds, well presented in every area!! Cracking breakfast and evening meal with fabulous service and attention from the staff.
The staff are really the credit to this hotel, nothing is too much trouble and they will cater to every request. Once you meet these guys you will never forget them, hilarious banter and chat until early this morning has left me with a hangover but it was worth every vodka from the bar (very reasonably priced). If your going to blackpool STAY HERE!!!!!
