Hotel staff were lovely.
Car park is tiny, we managed to get a space on the road outside and left it there for the 4 days which was free parking.
Our family room was tiny which was disappointing. With our double and then 2 singles there wasn't any room left. Our children are 4 and 5 and need space to get away from each other.. Unfortunately this room had no space.. And as for the new style hanging rail.. No way could we hang up clothes for 4 of us for a 5 day stay! What were Travelodge thinking when they decided to take out wardrobes and instead give you a 12 inch hanging rail??
Pros of the hotel.. Right next to the Pleasure Beach. Handy for The Sandcastle. Great to catch the Trams. Close to the beach.
Cons.. Right next to the Pleasure Beach.. The loud music (Shut up and dance with me!) constantly playing over and over again until 10 at night! My children are small and don't stay up that late so you have to close the windows to try and drown out the music but the room was hot as the weather was great.
Small breakfast room, so if you're too late you have to queue up and wait for a table.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Just recently returned from a 2 night stay. Staff very friendly. We had a double bed and single in our room which was enough for the 3 of us. Breakfast was lovely the 2 mornings we were there. Will definitely recommend it to families. Car park very small and tight but we managed to get parked ok. Another car park is near by if needed.
Tram stop just over the road and very handy for local attractions. Will hopefully visit again.

We had just gotten engaged at the tower circus when we arrived and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. They even upgraded our room to one with a beautiful sea view. We will be back again - maybe even for a honeymoon??

No good for families rooms very small with a double bed and two singles plus we had to have a travel cot and a pushchair and a suitcase .Cot had to go near the door blocking the exit . Single beds very hard and moved when you sat on them

Reception staff were very nice. Housekeeping was very poor. Had to ask for a sheet change after 10 days. Never vacuumed the room in 2 weeks. One day we found housekeeping had been in, turned the heater off, opened the window and left the bins full.
