we came across this lovely guest house when looking for somewhere to stay as our first place had been horrendous.
Sharon welcomed us at the door and showed us up to our room , even though it was lunchtime the rooms were ready for us.
we had two separate rooms next to each other, they were very clean, the beds were very comfortable and both rooms were en-suite, they had tea/coffee facilities, tv and bedside lights and cabinets.
This guest house is very central and within easy reach of trams, shops, arcades and the tower.
The guest house has a bar and Sharon was very welcoming, chatting to all of her guests and we enjoyed the wine!!, the prices were very reasonable.
what was good, was choosing your breakfast the night before so they knew who was getting what, you got loads, lots of toast, fruit juice, cereals, and a choice we went for a full cooked, one of the children and boiled egg, the other had omelette and the other the cooked breakfast.
we left our bags to go to the shops in the morning after checkout , nothing was any bother to Sharon and Roger.
I would defiantly recommend this place .

We have been stopping here regularly for quite a few years now and have been promising to do a review so here it is... long overdue but deserved. It is such a lovely hotel & Sharon & Roger, the owners are the nicest two people you could wish to meet. We love it that much that at one point we were stopping here at least once and even twice a month and only slowed down because of work commitments. Our last visit was two weekends ago. My wife will tell you & even Sharon & Rodger will tell you that the highlight of my weekend stay is the gorgeous full English breakfast I always have. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and I can speak for all of them because I think we have stayed in all of them over the years. They all have free tea/coffee in rooms and flat screen tv's. I think all all but one are on-suite.There is always a warm friendly welcome and it is genuine as we have become good friends with them. We even have a drink with them many a weekend at one of the local pubs. They will accommodate any request within reason. The location is great near the central pier... just far enough and far away enough from the town centre. There is lots of parking (free - on street) next to and close by to the hotel plus a cheap chargeable car park just round the corner. Please don't just take my word for it... book a stay here and you will not be disappointed but will have such an enjoyable stay and I guarantee you will return again and again just like we do. Can't wait to return... again.

Room Tip: None of the rooms are noisey, some are family rooms, all are on suite except one. All have flat screen tv and tea/coffee. Like them all.
