just got back from a 4 day break at the royal seabank hotel I don't know what I was expecting but it was superb,from checking in the staff were very friendly and helpful.the food was good and the service was better than some reviews I had read especially``monika who always had a smile on her face for the guests a real asset to the hotel.the only fault I could pick is the night porters don't seem very keen to be on the bar if you want a late drink but its nothing major.anyway would go back again and would recommend it to anyone.

Had a great break. Right in the middle of everything but no large groups or noisy drunks. Clean and well managed with a nice bar with a good veiw and reasonably priced drinks. We will definitely be returning.

I have just returned from a three night break booked via Blackpool Promotions at this hotel. My mum and I had two single sea view rooms. Basic rooms but Very clean and with en suite facilities.
The staff at the hotel were amiable, and helpful right thorough from reception staff to staff at the bars, cleaners and dining room staff. The hotel is clearly WELL MANAGED.
Food was excellent and offered good variety. It was great that food was served rather than being a buffet. Excellent breakfast and dinner included in our deal.
Entertainment was provided every evening. Great bar staff, acts and comperes.
We could not fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Arrived last Monday for 4 nights with a coach party. We were given room 3 which was a "premium" room but it was in the basement so the window looked out onto the decking where people sat and drank/smoked. It had vertical blinds and curtains that did not close, just for decoration. The radiator did not work so the reception lady gave us a convector heater . This was fine, but as we both have breathing problems it could not be kept on for long.
The food was sometimes good sometimes not. Our meal went back twice via the restaurant manager as it was not cool it was stone cold!. My husband said feel it and she was horrified that it was still cold and replaced it. It was actually very nice once hot!. Breakfast was hit and miss but it was fine and plenty of toast if you wanted it..
There was no way of getting from reception to the restaurant downstairs or the lower ground rooms by lift as there was no lift at ground level !!! I watched a scottish lady with one leg shuffling down the stairs on her bum. There were many people in the hotel with walking aids and wheelchairs and they could not see the entertainment as it was upstairs.
The saving grace for the hotel was the entertainment, it was very good especially the comedian singer, what a range of music. ( can't remember his name). and the Four Ds they are very talented singers.
Should our club arrange this trip again my husband and I will not be returning.

We do kindly urge guests to notify us at the time of booking of any special requests / mobility issues so a suitable room / more suitable hotel within our group can be arranged. Please note the Royal Seabank provides mobility level 1 bedrooms typically suitable for guests able to manage a flight of stairs. In regards to your heater - we do apologise for this however during the summer months our central heating is on very low / off - due to the ambient mild outside temperatures, we are pleased to learn our staff acted quickly to allocate a portable heater once notified you were a little cold. In regards to our food - the Royal Seabank does usually get very good feedback regarding the excellent food and service on offer as reflected in many excellent TripAdvisor reviews, should there be any issues whatsoever during meal times we kindly ask guests to make our restaurant supervisor on duty aware who will be more than happy to arrange alternatives / replacement dishes - staff will always do everything they can to ensure a pleasurable dining experience is had by all. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed our nightly entertainment notably the Four D's and our talented guest vocalist, there are many excellent guest artists visiting the Royal Seabank throughout the year so we do hope you will re consider staying with us to see more of the fabulous programme. Just came back 15/9/2017 from a great time with my grandaughter at the Royal Seabank she is 6 she loved the hotel food and staff were all wonderful and helpful I have nothing bad to say about the hotel we were in room 1 my grandaughter was amazed at how you opened the room door she did not want to leave can you please tell John in the dinning hall thank you very much for being so kind and my grandaughter says thanks for the chocolate ice cream ..
