Been coming for last 7 years after checking reviews. won't change now, say's it all!Immaculate for cleanliness, loads of extras, great breakfast, great location for seeing the sights and excellent hosts.

Room Tip: 1st and 2nd floor front rooms for street view, rear for children which are quieter.

This was our second stay at The Craimar as the hosts were so lovely the first time we felt welcome to revisit. Great location close to coral island and the tower. The room was clean and bed very comfortable.
Lovely breakfast and nice that you can choose whatever you want from hot choices. Some fruit and light yoghurts available.
Very hot in our room up at the top of property - small window to open and a fan provided but still very humid and clammy.
The wifi did not work for us - it had full signal but could not connect.

I have never been to Blackpool before and decided last minute to book a small double room at the Craimar. Where to start – well upon arriving we were given a warm welcome by Craig and Paula. They kindly checked us in a little early, let us leave our bags in the room and the directed us to a nearby carpark stating if we got lost or if it was full to ring them. Unfortunately, the carpark was full but we found one not far away for £10 for the night so didn’t need to call.

The room itself was spotlessly clean with plenty of facilities (hot drinks, toiletries, earplugs, flat screen TV, WIFI, fridge with water, hairdryer, iron etc). I was honestly surprised by how much was on offer for such a fantastic price. My only grumble was the seagulls – my god they can screech. However, this is certainly not something Craig and Paula can control but they do kindly leave earplugs in the room should the screeches get too much haha…

Breakfast in the morning was lovely. It ran from 0845-0915 and there was plenty to choose from (e.g., cereal, yogurt, to a full cooked breakfast). We didn’t have the full English but looking at other people’s plates it did look lovely. There is also tea, coffee and orange juice to choose from.

There is also a bar downstairs with a pool table. We did not make use of the bar as we were out most of the day and evening, however, upon return to our room on Sat night there did appear to be people in there. There are also plenty of leaflets in the hallway should you need ideas on what to do. Everything is a short stroll away. The hotel is perfectly located for those who like to park up for the weekend and walk everywhere.

So, to round this up, the price is very reasonable for what you get. In fact, I think they should charge more as having looked at quite a few hotels on TripAdvisor before I booked, there were places charging more and looked grubby. The Craimar was really lovely for what you pay and the hosts round it off nicely.

Just returned from our annual 5 day trip to The Craimar/Blackpool. Great to catch up with owners Paula & Craig who have become close friends over the years. Regardless the same warm welcome is given to all visiting guests whether return or first timers. Always notice subtle improvements & this year it was the new decking and frontage to the B& B that sets The Craimar apart from others. Enough to say that the Craimar is spotlessly clean & fresh throughout. The high quality of the breakfast on offer has to be highlighted, everything you could ask for and more from fruit juices, fresh fruits, all the cereals you could think of and an array of cooked options from the full English to omelettes & kippers as well as filled rolls of your choice. In summary we will continue to visit this excellent value for money B & B and will keep on recommending to others.
