everything tasted of curry paste, cheap rotten chicken, yeuuugh, go to the local supermarket and buy twice the quality for half the price, honestly.

Best by far ive ever had and i love my curries. The prices are less than what you would pay at mcdonalds, for me 5 star food. They are lovely people and very friendly everytime i go in. If you are going for Indian food then no place comes close.

We live local to penrith and decided to give mint takeaway a try, the menu online looks appealing so we ordered, upon collection there was an infant crawling around the floor where the food was being prepared which immediately set alarm bells off as no child should be crawling around a professional establishment. We received the order which was all correct and reasonably priced, unfortunately the food was cold, tasteless and really disappointing. The chicken in all of the dishes was chewy and left a funny after taste in the mouth, the sauces were so bland, the naan breads were plain even though one was meant to be garlic and the other cheese, neither had any flavour or filling. We will not be returning or recommending this takeaway to anybody in the future.

We've had takeaway curries from Mint on a few occasions. Calling ahead it normally takes about 20 minutes to prepare, the service is good and the family running it are friendly. The portions are generous, for two we normally share a main dish and rice and have a couple of naan's, altogether that's normally around the £12 mark. Everything we've ordered has tasted very good, definitely one of the best takeaway options in town.
