Back again in this lovely cottage which has everything you need. The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived which was just as well as it was snowing, thanks to the owners Iain and Sue.
Braithwaite is a lovely village with good pubs and a delightful village shop which has most of what you need.
Hope to be back again next year.
Easy access to the hills around. Very well-equipped cottage in the centre of the village of Braithwaite. The cottage was ideal for the three of us. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.
The cottage is well situated and only a couple of minutes walk from the well stocked village shop. There are 4 eating venues in this small village so all needs can be catered for. At least 2 of them allow your dog to be present whilst you eat your meal.
I particularly enjoy this cottage because it has a small private back garden which is ideal for our dogs. The interior is of reasonable size and is always up to a good standard of decor.A good bus service is available and there are plenty of walks from the doorstep. We have stayed here at least 6 times.
Stayed here for a week in July, 2 adults 2 kids and 1 dog, great cottage right in the centre of Braithwaite, it was surprisingly spacious inside with every amenity you could wish for. Two lovely pubs within walking distance and fantastic woodland walks in Whinlatter forest which is very close. Would definitely recommend.
Back again at this beautiful cottage. Couldn't fault it, there is everything you need for your stay. If only the weather was a good as the cottage.
This cottage is situated in the beautiful village of Braithwaite which has a nice village shop which stocks most of the essentials that you need. There are also a couple of nice pubs close by. We will definitely be back.
