“A unique and peaceful property”
Reviewed 13 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Had a great new year break with many of the family present. This unique farm house catered for, and was loved by us all (ages from 7 to 57). Would definitely go back again.

“Perfect, Idyllic Cottage”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed here in June for a long weekend. Four couples. Ideal as 4 double bedrooms 3 bathrooms. Cottage was picture postcard beautiful and spotless, well spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Large dining room where we all sat comfortably. The setting was also stunning. Just a 5 minute walk into Hawkshead. Such a wonderful village and a bonus having 4 great pubs! You can also hop over the fence and across the field and walk up to Tarn Hows. Wonderful with fantastic views.

Definitely love to return and we will next year!

Thank you for taking the time to post this wonderful review - we hope to see you again next year. We strive to maintain this high standard, something a little different from run of the mill holiday cottage - home from home.

“A piece of paradise”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is a beautiful period cottage with four good double bedrooms and plenty of space for relaxing. Great location outside Hawkshead. Its a family second home rather than a holiday let and the decor and facilities reflect that. A great stay.
