we finished a long walk in Coniston Village and weren't sure where to eat and landed on this pub. It was very busy on the Easter Friday but we just managed to get a table. We tried the Guinness then had the chicken/leek suet pudding and the steak pie both with chips and veg and it was really nice and filled us after a long walk! Like a lot of pubs in the Lakes, you have to Q to order food and drinks which for the price you are paying is shabby. Looking forward to visiting Coniston again in the future and would try this pub again.
