Fabulous house in a great location. There is plenty of space to 'spread out' with a wonderful 'snug' , large lounge and summer house. We loved that the house had plenty of bathrooms. Each bedroom either had an ensuite, shower room or bathroom allocated to them as with 89 year old great granny down to a 3 year old and baby this is essential and kept everyone happy! The canoe was worth hiring as it was good fun for everyone. We enjoyed the house and location so much that we have already booked for next year. Daphne is a caring, helpful lady. Thank you so much.

This property is enhanced by its situation close to Lake Coniston. It has extensive grounds, a wonderful summer house ( very cosy) , and is comfortable in every aspect. We loved the views, the plentiful supply of dishes/ pots and pans etc. and large dining table which allows extended family to eat sociably together.
Our only regret was the weather which was not that kind - rain, hail ,sleet and snow in late April!!
Absolutely wonderful! A perfect place to stay with a beautiful babbling river at the front of the garden , a superb garden and summerhouse this property has everything. Heaps of space to spread out and not be on top of each other . Everything you can think of is provided and there are plenty of dishwasher tablets , bin liners , wash powder , cloths etc etc provided . Lots and lots of adults and children's games are in the house. Very spacious bedrooms nice decor , good bathrooms
Can't recommend highly enough
