“5* stay in the Lakes”
Reviewed 8 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Jennys Croft really does have the wow factor. My family and I really did say this as we walked through the front door. What greeted us was an exceptional accommodation that had been very tastefully converted. Everything that we needed for the week was there. This included a really good welcome hamper full of local produce and super quality bed linen. We had a wonderful stay for the week. We'll done The Rowley Estate and thankyou.

Hi
Thank you for your great review. It's great to hear how much you appreciated the hamper and the bed linen particularly, we go to a lot of trouble to get these things right for our guests and it really helps us to have such positive feedback. We would love to welcome you back to The Rowley Estates if your travels bring you back to Cumbria and the Lake District. Best Regards Christine, Charlie and Jilly

“Spacious, well equipped, dog friendly and very relaxing!”
Reviewed 6 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

This was the second time we had stayed at Jenny's Croft and once again we were not disappointed. The cottage is an extremely relaxing place to stay. It is very well equipped and the owners have really thought of everything. The welcome basket (including a pack of dog treats for each dog!) is amazing and very thoughtful. The living spaces within the property are extremely spacious. Home away from home. Lovely outdoor spaces too. A great location for accessing Penrith (a lovely town), the Pennines, and also the Lakes. We will be back. We love it here now!

“Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location.”
Reviewed 14 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful quiet countryside location.

The cottage was situated in a lovely part of Penrith, close to some great places to shop, walk and visit. We made the most of the walks around the village and to the play area for our son close by.

We ventured into the town and had a meal out at one of the recommended restaurants during our visit.

We are a family of three with son who is 4 years old. The cottage was built and furnished throughout to a very high standard. What we loved about the cottage was the fact that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more, as well as the lounge with logs for the fire to use, towels and shampoos etc in the bedroom and bathrooms.

The cottage was very roomy and well laid out and clean upon arrival.

We loved our weekend stay, so comfortable and relaxing and will be visiting again soon.

Christine and Jilly were a pleasure to deal with and answered our many questions before and during our stay.

We will be back.
