Stayed just the one night to see family in the area. Given a quiet room at the back. Fills all the basic needs - but needs a little more attention to detail to make it very good.
Old fashioned CRT TV in modern hotel - why? Jumble of freeview channels all mixed up - most not properly tuned in. No movies available. Internet expensive at £10 for "24 hours" - you can get 24 hours because of the check in/out times even if you were there bang on time.
The room itself was sound if basic - a modern shower but no water pressure. MFI style fittings - only make this place a basic stop-over.
I paid for the all you can eat buffet. The cold items were ok.
The cooked items were pathetic - poorly cooked runny poached eggs, luke warm flavourless bacon, the sausage was warm edible if uninspired. The beans - allegedly Heinz - were luke warm and watery. The "hot" water for tea was well off boling.
My suggestion - make the staff sample their own experience and then see whats going wrong

Room Tip: Second floor at the back is ok - away from the M2 - quite thin walls though.

Stayed one night after coming off the ferry on our long journey to Yorkshire from Spain.
Check in was very efficient and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was of the standard that I have come to expect from Premier Inn.
One disadvantage although a warning is given of the road noise caused by traffic on the busy A2 main road out of Dover and the fuel filling station.
My only complaint would be the long walk, on my visit in the dark with little or no street lighting amongst park commercial vehicles to and from the on site pub / restaurant.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a front room

Stayed for one night before sailing across channel following morning, On arrival the receptionist was excellent, she was extremely friendly and welcoming - full marks! The room was exactly as expected in a premier inn - clean comfortable and functional.
Main gripe for us was finding out that breakfast is not available until 0800 on weekends - absolutely no good for us, as we were catching the 0825 ferry - I feel the hotel should be offering breakfast from around 0700 this is surely reasonable?
Apart from that no complaints

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel - as there is a busy dual carrigeway at the front

We stayed for one night at the end of November. The room was very clean and we found the bed very comfortable. The receptioist was very friendly and efficient. The only niggles were the very poor reception on the TV and only enough coffee left for one cup per person. However, for £39 if was very satisfactory.
