“Luxurious accommodation from excellent hosts”
Reviewed 4 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We were an extended family of parents, teenage twin boys their Grandmother. The Hayloft is one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in. It is extremely well equipped with high quality fittings and fixtures and wonderfully warm. The location in the small village of Chislet is wonderfully peaceful but only 15 minutes from Canterbury and the Kent coast. Whilst there we visited most of the seaside resorts and particularly liked Broadstairs and Whitstable, we enjoyed the Historic dockyard at Chatham and found Dover castle's wide range of activities and beautiful setting to be a excellent day out. The owners Richard and Lindsay were excellent hosts whilst booking and during our stay. Highly recommended!

“Perfect family hideaway in the Kent countryside”
Reviewed 15 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The Hayloft is a beautifully converted home away from home, we had a lovely time with our family, including two babies and a toddler, they enjoyed meeting the horses and chickens. Richard and Lindsay are very welcoming and helpful hosts, offering everything from fresh eggs to thoughtful recommendations of local restaurants and activities. Very much recommended.

“Fabulous first rate accomodation, spacious and luxurious .”
Reviewed 26 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The Hayloft offered us the perfect holiday accomodation, including a room with easier access and ensuite wet room , an extremely spacious lounge with ample seating, wood burner and large wall mounted television. The large kitchen has a farmhouse style table and separate downstairs bathroom . The walk in larder was really useful , for storage and use of another fridge freezer . Breakfasts were great listening to the birds with the stable door open . The private car park with gated entrance was a bonus.
A great base close to Canterbury.

“Without a doubt, this is the best holiday home I've stayed at”
Reviewed 14 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I've stayed in a lot of holiday cottages, but this was the closest to a real home. Very well equipped for my family and I. Moses basket, travel cot, high chair, stair gates etc. Kids discovered the sky Disney movie channel and were able to play outside safely. Champagne flutes and wine glasses helped to fuel the family celebration. Fully equipped kitchen and bbq meant all we had to do was get our groceries delivered from Ocado. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and a peaceful lane way for morning walks.

Children loved the beach and ice cream at broadstairs and while my wife liked the shopping in Canterbury I enjoyed the historical sites the city offers.

Owners went out of their way to make our stay really special, thank you for an amazing holiday. We will be back!!

What a wonderful stay. We were here for a few weeks whilst exploring the area. We were so spoiled. Incredible owners - Freshly laid Eggs and everything you could need was there. We would definitely return. I highly recommend this amazing property
