Three miles west of the picturesque market town of Ledbury. Imaginatively furnished, light and airy children and dogs all welcome A great place to stop off, enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, linger over a leisurely lunch, browse the paper over brunch and to stock up on daily essentials or pick up a gourmet treat to make someones day.

Love visiting the Nest for coffee, or sometimes a late breakfast. Food is always good; local and homemade, and the staff friendly. Top quality produce for sale in the shop, including organic vegetables, beautiful scotch eggs and quiches. Next door is the best garden centre in the area for an enjoyable wander and often a purchase or two.

Mark and his team at the Newent Plant Cantre have made a huge difference to the whole experience of visiting the nest, we were so very fortunate to welcome them on board, along with Posterity we have between us all something for everyone, we hope!

Delighted you are enjoying our little corner of Herefordshire, and yes the Scotch eggs do tend to take the lime light but there are hundreds of other lovely things for sale both in the cafe and the shop, amazing cheeses and breads are among the favourites these days...

The Nest is great for so many reasons, friendly accessible and great foods and fare. It feels chaotic but in a nice way. There are loads of staff all very welcoming and helpful both in the restaurant and the shop. Easy car parking and on the flat. The food is in fussy but very wholesome and good portions with lots of locally sourced produce. It can get very busy at peak times as it a great place to meet friends and watch the world go by. We love it and would recommend it to all age groups.

Thank you the team, as you say, can often be under a bit of pressure so its great to hear that we can still be friendly...and yes, thankfully for us!, it does get a bit busy but usually between 12.30 and 3 always a lot calmer either side of these times! good plan to get a seat around 12 and theres a lot more people watching to enjoy...

A great find!
We have drove past many times and never really noticed that there was a café there.
We hadn't planned to call, but as we drove past, thought we would check it out and very glad that we did.
A nice rustic setting with a good bustling atmosphere and plenty of local produce on the menu.
Enjoyed a fantastic Tapas using locally sourced produce at a very reasonable price.
My partner had a deluxe? Welsh Rarebit, which she also really enjoyed.
Coffee's were good, which is always a bonus.
Will definitely call again.
There is also good farm shop selling a wide variety of scotch eggs, vegetables and meats, where we bought some sausages - not the cheapest sausages out there, but very nice.

Glad you decided to call in, its just over 4 years since we took over the place and we are still tweaking and developing things. We made our way here selling our Scotch eggs through farmers markets and festivals so most of the produce we sell is from the amazing people we made friends with along the way mostly local but some from further afield. Hope to see you again sometime soon..
