The hotel is lovely. Really old coach Inn. Super bar and restaurant spaces. We were there for a big family gathering and had a super time. Right in the middle of the town and close the Malvern hills for some lovely walking. Senior staff knew what they were doing, some of the serving staff need to know their details and menus a bit more. Everyone very friendly and very helpful. We had a super time! Rooms a little pricey but lovely.

This was a lovely traditional hotel, full of character - some very old features, quirky passageways with very creaky floors! It was also deceptively big, stretching a long way back with conferencing facilities.

Our room was quite small but well equipped, comfy bed and furnishings, bathroom bright and airy. Only criticism is that the doors were very thin - we could hear the entire conversations of anyone passing down the corridor!

The pool and small gym were a bonus - decor could do with some serious updating but facilities were entirely fit for purpose. For dinner, we were part of a party with private room and set menu ordered in advance - the food was delicious, and very generous portions. Breakfast ditto.

Staff pleasant and helpful throughout.

All the arrangements had been made by our friends but we were sufficiently impressed that we’d definitely consider coming back.

Recently changed hands and now run by a chain. I have to say the level of staff training is abysmal, and the consequence is poor customer service. It takes forever to get served at the bar, and the staff seem clueless most of the time. I noticed that they have completely changed the choices of lager. You can only have Hoegaareden, which tastes better in Belgium than it does in Ledbury, Budlight which very few like or Stella Artois which is premium and high strength. What about a Carlsberg, a Carling or a Heineken or is the new owner only selling premium priced lagers and giving customers limited choice ? I noticed last night that unlike previously, customers were eating in the bar area which meant that seating was restricted. In addition, one customer had a fish dish which, although it looked nice, it stank the bar out. Please don't let this once lovely place go down the pan as quite often when money grabbing chains take over.

We were delightfully surprised with The Feathers and cannot recommend it enough.
Staff were welcoming helpful and their attention to detail was much appreciated.
We stayed in room 2 at the front no noise from the road and the room was perfect clean tidy and everything you could need taken care of.
Dinner in the evening was served in a timely manner and presentation was very good.
Chef is very good the meal was just perfect. I had the linguine and my husband had the fish and chips. We shared a sweet of ginger bread and butter pudding. Excellent for the price .

Room Tip: Room 2 at the front very quiet

This was a perfect location. The room was big and comfortable with fruit and chocolate provided every day during our 3 day stay. Food was excellent and a good choice of dishes - well priced as was the wine. One of the highlights was the pool - to be able to swim after a day out was a real treat. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we will certainly go back in the not too distant future.
