“Lovely stay ”
Reviewed 21 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. It is a lovely converted barn complex with a adjoining holiday cottage 'the stables'.
We didn't require the disabled access however the tack room did appear to have everything you would need.
We just wanted a quiet retreat while we where child free so this remote location was lovely for us.
The bed was comfortable, we also used the pull out couch and had a DVD day as the weather was bad, this was also as comfortable as can be expected for a pull out.
On that note the telly in the living room had a DVD player which was very handy.
The tack room was lovely and clean on arrival and the bottle of wine on arrival was a lovey additional touch.
The local pub had the most beautiful beer garden which has to be seen.
There isn't really a local shop so we ventured out for supplies.
Was a lively retreat, no traffic & Jo street lights at night meant the sky was beautiful.
Thanks for a lovely stay

“Lovely Setting But Not What Was Expected”
Reviewed 11 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Let's start off with the positives, The property is fully wheelchair Accessable making it a good place for wheelchair users. The Bed is extremely uncomfortable and has old and tired springs which will stick in your back and cause you a lot of sleepless nights and pain. The sofa bed is poor and would be very uncomfortable to sleep on for more than one night. The tack rooms bathroom however is no slip and has a lot of rails helping disabled people to have a shower. The surrounding area is beautiful and the game room is a nice edition. The tack room in my mind is only suitable for two people and if you are coming with more I recommend you rent the stables aswell.

“Perfect !”
Reviewed 13 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We booked the Tack Room and Stables as a base for 3 nights, The whole complex is built around converted farm buildings are of a very high standard. The location is remote in small country lanes but in a very picturesque, quiet area.Do not rely solely on sat nav to find it. We were welcomed by the owner Sarah and a nice touch was the bottle of wine left as a welcome gift. The accommodation was spacious and easily accessible, important for me as a wheelchair user. The kitchen was fully equipped, the lounge and bedroom very comfortable and each room including bedrooms had flat screen tv's. There was wifi and Internet access available but it was very sporadic, which apparently is standard for the area. The wet room was easily accessible and a shower chair was supplied free of charge when requested. The other members of the family that stayed in the Stables part of the complex, throroughly enjoyed their stay and like us would recommend the accommodation.

“Excellent facilities for disabled users!”
Reviewed 24 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A well proportioned property which allowed for a wheelchair and manual hoist to move around without difficulty Large sized wet room and everything on the flat.

Beautiful, if isolated location, so a vehicle is a must. Peaceful and very comfortable.

The owners were very kind and friendly and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for them.

May places were also wheelchair accessible - the local farm park which has even got a fully accessible tractor for the rides!!!

Going back later this year!!!
