Another visit to this super zoo. Sad that on those very sunny days the big cats in particular don't like the heat and hide away. Only saw one tiger from a great distance and the same with snow leopard. Sad to see one camel in the huge water enclosure meadow near the cafe. What a waste. Not enough info on each display but glad that the keepers are to hand for that good friendly approach...Great day out and we will be back.

Visited the zoo a week ago with my kids and mother . We all enjoyed the place , had a great walk and we were impressed by how healthy the animals looked. We tried the train and we had a lunch there. Restaurant prices are reasonable and the food is good. Very friendly staff. I recommend this place for a fun day out .

Having paid nearly £80 to take grandchildren to Marwell Zoo today I left feeling totally ripped off, plenty of play parks (not what we went for) and not many animals to see. a cool day but no tigers about, no rhino, and a general feeling of an attraction needing an upgrade or a serious rethinking of entry prices. we were going to purchase an annual family pass but will not be doing so after todays experience.

I visited yesterday on a grey half-term day.
Glad I wasn’t put off by the weather, as the cooler temperatures seemed to have meant more active animals. Very few had chosen to stay inside and I was able to have some super encounters.

The staff were super chatty and there were some lovely manned information stations.
Unfortunately the staff in the coffee shop seemed overwhelmed by the number of people to serve at elevenses. Maybe some signs asking people to clear their own tables would be helpful, as whilst there were clearing stations most customers were just leaving their rubbish/dishes on the tables.

Title says it all really. Great to have this place on our doorstep in Winchester. Every time we visit there always seems to be something new to see or some activity to do. Food is still not great, but it is getting better.
