Good secure car park.We stayed a couple of nights before boarding a P&O. Cruise. The reception was good, all the staff were french and sometimes difficult to understand. The room was clean, but I found the bed a bit hard, glad we were only staying a couple of nights. The food was good, but we had to book the restaurant in advance. The pool was a bit small and the sauna too cold. There is a large shopping mall, and other shops and bars in easy walking distance.

Stayed at the Novotel as it was offered for £184 for Thurs & Fri night. Bit dissapointed by the small wardrobe and lack of drawers to store clothes. Appears to be designed for those having a 1 night stopover. Trying to sleep was a nightmare! Only 1 pillow each, cheap bed with a metal frame that folds up sometimes when you sit on it but worst was that even though I turned the thermostat off the room was incredibly hot and stuffy, no air con. Thankfully I was able to open the window however the noise from the docks, ring road and large police station was non stop and woke us frequently. The mini fridge door light was faulty and flickered throughout the night illuminating the room.....Okay moan over because I'm tired & now grouchy. So on the positive side the fridge was replaced immediately as soon as I reported it next morning and we returned to find 2 extra pillows. Staff were very professional and service promptly attended to. Cleanliness was excellent. Location is very good everything you need a short walk away. Customers should have free wifi and hotel guests should not have to pay to park. Unfortunately I can't recommend this hotel until they get air conditioning.

This hotel was clean and....that's it.

The rooms are tiny and not probably the same size as the Etap but much more costly.

The reception staff were quite rude. Especially when our room wouldn't open and we had to get assistance. Didn't even get an apology.

This hotel is all reception and 'front'.

We stayed in this hotel for my partner's birthday. I got a late deal so the price was very good, and turned out to be definitely worth the money!

The room was great with a nice comfy bed, it was very clean and tidy with a nice size room and a good bathroom. The facilities at the hotel were great, we used the swimming pool in the morning which was nice and and if we'd stayed longer we would have used the gym, which looked well equipped.

Breakfast was great with a buffet where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, and everything was very good, the cooked breakfast was very tasty and we both enjoyed it.

The only downside was the room was very hot and we both had trouble sleeping properly.

But would definitely stay again!
