I'm glad to read that you use our hotels regularly for work and have advised that the location of this hotel is good especially for children, local bars and restaurants. It's such a shame to read that this hotel disappointed you so much that you've advised it's been your worst stay.
I appreciate that if our reception team have poor local knowledge this could be an inconvenience for our guests . We'll ensure this feedback is passed onto staff so we can aim to improve our services in future.
I apologise for the disappointment caused to you by the view you had from your room. Room requests can be added to your booking if you contact the hotel before your stay with your reservation number, we'll be happy to add a request such as a room with a view. Although these requests cannot be guaranteed, our team will try their best to accommodate this for you.
It's very concerning to read that the towels you were provided with for your room were marked, this certainly isn't the standards we would expect for our guests so we'll ensure this is picked up on with the housekeeping staff.
Your comments regarding the experience in the restaurant when visiting for breakfast sound very disappointing also. I understand that you've advised there wasn't many staff available however the team members are best placed to help you and would be happy to help if any issues were raised with them at the time.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you for another stay in the future that is much more satisfactory.
