Was given a Groupon voucher for 2 course Sunday carvery and we couldn't fault anything. The relaxed atmosphere, lovely decor and very friendly staff just made it even better. Our waiter was Enrico, a very smiley and happy man. We enjoyed great food, a bottle of wine, looking out onto a very sunny seafront.
Will be back again very soon.

Great location, easy access to Portsmouth attractions and routes to Isle of Wight. Brilliant breakfast. Plenty of choice, cooked breakfast always hot and staff keep the buffet replenished. Rooms are clean.

A great Hotel on the sea front at Southsea opposite the pier. Large bright rooms and comfortable beds in a lovely Hotel. The room was very clean and there was ample coffee and tea with the kettle.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful and meals were well cooked with the chef and servers in attendance.
The Re-union Dinner was well presented and the staff were very efficient - a great weekend - we stayed an extra night on the Sunday.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are excellent.

This was my second pleasant visit to this hotel, stayed overnight with my family to see my sisters graduation at Portsmouth Uni. The hotel itself is very clean and tiday. The staff at reception and at the bar are very friendly and warming to speak with. Breakfast in the morning is fantastic value for money, it’s a buffet with loads of options to choose from; full English or various continental options. Hotel location is right on the sea-front in easy walking distance to all main points of interest in Portsmouth.

Bought a groupon offer for four (2 course main and dessert) which turned out to be very good value for money. The salmon, carvery meats, roast potatoes and vegetables were very tasty.

A decent choice of desserts were available which were also enjoyable. A bottle of Chenin Blanc cost £17.95, so overall a pleasurable way to spend a Sunday afternoon without breaking the bank.

The restaurant in the hotel is nicely set out; lots of space between tables, light and clean and the waiting staff were attentive and mainly friendly.

There is a car park at the back of the hotel, not that big, which can be a bit tight for larger vehicles. Hotel is opposite the pier.
