“Well located”
Reviewed 29 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This is a lovely cottage situated only a short distance from all the amenities in Winchcombe and which proved to be a perfect location to visit all other towns and attractions in the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. The cottage is very well presented and provided for all our basic needs. This is the first time my partner and I have stayed in a holiday rental but, based on this experience, it is unlikely to be our last. Thank you Julia.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

A lovely cottage, beautifully and comfortably furnished. Very well equipped and with quality towels and bedding. Peaceful location with many amenities within walking distance.
We found it very convenient for exploring the Cotswolds.

This is a gorgeous little cottage, beautifuly furnished and plenty of natural light. Private Parking space is a real bonus. Perfect for couples. There are no "real" views but the outlook is pleasant with Rose bushes and other plants. It is central to 3 Pubs (short walks) and also shops.Neighbours pleasant and friendly. THe owner had left a nice bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Exceptionaly clean. Woukld definitely stay here again, and will recommend to friends.

“Lovely Cottage”
Reviewed 12 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This cottage is a gem and as advertised. It is central for local restaurants and pubs, for walking and for touring by car. We spent ten days at Anvil Cottage and loved everything about it except that the bed was too soft for our taste and our backs.

“Beautiful Cottage”
Reviewed 26 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Beautiful cottage, perfectly placed for wandering around Winchcombe. Very clean, compact & bijou! Decorated beautifully, very homely. The welcome pack was very much appreciated - lovely wine - thank you! We bought a few of the handmade cards - a nice touch! The bed was a little too soft for us, and the bedding a bit too warm, but these are minor niggles. My hubby has a feather allergy but didn't seem to be affected too badly from the duvet and pillows. We ate at The Lion and The Plaisterers, both really nice places, but preferred the food at The Plaisterers. We would stay again - but would bring slippers as the tiled floor is a bit chilly with bare feet - LOL.

Thank you for your hospitality Julie - a gem of a cottage.
