“Charming cottage with great features”
Reviewed 26 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

No expense spared on this recently rebuilt cottage situated in the owners cottage garden in which it is nice to sit and enjoy the peaceful setting. Easy parking on the roadside. Very clean and comfy with the interesting feature of a spiral staircase; with all the gadgets and facilities you need including a wine cooler, a gas cooker and hob plus also an electric hob! Good size bedrooms one with shower the other with bath (we would have liked a shower here as well). Plenty of room to spread out in the one large comfy open room downstairs; eating options either outside on the patio or (but perhaps a bit cramped for 4) in the dining area. For four it perhaps would have been nice to have more crockery although a plus point there were loads of mugs. Although it had all you need the ergonomics of the kitchen area would have driven us mad had we been living there for a long time but for a short holiday it was absolutely fine.

Owners very helpful with information leaflets and an OS map for walkers. Plenty of books to read. Stow is a great location from which to enjoy the Cotswolds, lots of tea shops, interesting shops (including the owners nearby Vintage and Paint shop), nearby other villages including Chipping Camden (with Theatre) the Slaughters (good walk), Bourton on the Water (great shops, wildlife park and model village) and Northleach (wonderful mechanical music museum) and Hidcote Gardens not far away.

“Charming quiet cottage with great facilities in a magic location”
Reviewed 22 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

My wife, teenage daughter and I stayed in this cottage for three nights in April and enjoyed our stay so much that hopefully, one day, we will get the opportunity to go back. Stow On The Wold is far far away from Adelaide Australia and we found this roomy two story cottage a perfect resting place for our little family adventure around the Cotswolds. Sitting around the wood combustion heater at the end of a long day with a glass of wine and local cheeses purchased in a delightful shop 100 metres away with the church b ell tolling in the background gave us memories to treasure.

“Lovely cottage, great location”
Reviewed 1 May 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Booked this cottage for Easter 2013 and very happy we did. We were a group of 4 (two couples). The location is great, very short walk to the centre of town. Lots of places to visit nearby and good walks. Friendly owners and well equipped cottage. Would definately stay again if visiting the area.

“Peace and quiet in the centre of town”
Reviewed 1 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Park Cottage is in a perfect location for all the pubs and restaurants in Stow on the Wold, this being said having entered the accommodation through a little passage and emerging into a courtyard garden you leave the world behind you. The cottage is set back and with a separate garden and patio area great for that end of day glass of wine! The accommodation itself is extremely comfortable with a huge sofa to sink into and a well laid out kitchen area Everything to make it feel more homely than "rental" Despite its central location there was absolutely no street noise at all which was great for those late morning starts we had been looking forward to. We would love to go back again as this is the perfect location to visit country houses, stately homes and fabulous for walkers and Park Cottage is defiantly the place to stay.

“The perfect choice - Park House Cottage was a great find!”
Reviewed 23 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Park House cottage was such a great find. It was furnished beautifully and it was clear that there had been no expense spared, it didn't feel like we were staying in a rental at all. It had all the mod cons and the owners had thought of absolutely everything. The location couldn't have been better, situated a stones throw from the market square of Stow-on-the-wold but set back far enough that once inside the cottage you felt that you were really in the country.

The owners made the booking process very easy and were very welcoming, we arrived to find fresh bread, eggs and milk which was a lovely touch.

We would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a weekend break in this beautiful village, we will be returning to enjoy it one summer time. It's the perfect location to travel to other villages during the day and then to return to enjoy one of the many great restaurants in the evening.

You won't be disappointed if you book this accommodation!
