“Lovely, quiet, well-equipped house!”
Reviewed 6 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We enjoyed our stay at Oak House, and are hoping to return soon.

The property is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and has a large, private garden, predominantly grass. There is off-road parking for 1 or 2 cars.

There are lots of toys, games and puzzles for children to use, both inside and out, and books for all ages.

There is also garden furniture and a barbecue.

The house is clean and tidy, and in good decorative order. The beds are comfortable!

“Fantastic family friendly house in the heart of the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 4 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

I can't rate Oak House enough - so incredibly comfy and clean, it's a real 'home from home.' The owners have thought of absolutely everything, and I was most impressed with the night light and the well stocked cupboard of board games, which we made full use of. Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, our family, consisting of two young children, particularly enjoyed the nearby Bourton-on-the-Water and Warwick Castle.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. It was a shame the weather didn't allow you to enjoy the garden more. Thank you once again for your kind review.

“Cosy & Peaceful”
Reviewed 24 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We spend a week in the Cotswolds in March most years to catch up with family & friends who live nearby and to go racing at Cheltenham. We stayed at Oak House this year and had the best time.
Robert and Cheryl are extremely welcoming - there was a lovely cake waiting for our arrival at Saturday teatime.
Being at the end of a cul-de-sac, the house doesn't have traffic driving past and is very quiet with views over the fields behind.
It is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment including a dishwasher.
The central heating is very efficient and, although there is a wood burner in the sitting room, we never actually used it because we were warm enough without.
There's a good sized garden, which would be lovely in warmer weather but it was too cold for us to use during our stay.
There's a great pub in the village in very easy walking distance which does food while the nearest shops are in Stow-on-the-Wold, just a few miles away.
Would we stay at Oak House again? Most definitely. It's a lovely place to stay & we felt very comfortable there

“Lovely cottage, with wonderful views, great location for exploring The Cotswolds”
Reviewed 23 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I stayed in the cottage with my husband and 8yr old daughter. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The owners were very welcoming and left us with a few welcoming gifts, cake, little chocolates, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers. The cottage is located in a pretty village and there are lots of tourist attractions and pretty places to visit all within about a 30 minute drive. The garden is huge and backs onto fields, the area was very peaceful too. I would highly recommend staying here, it really is a lovely place.
