What a stunningly beautiful cottage! We spent a night here as a birthday treat & as South view cottage is so centrally situated we were able to leave the car, wander around the town, do a spot of shopping & have dinner....all on foot!!!! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with the cottage being spotlessly clean, well equipped & a real home from home!!! Will definitely be back!!!
We spend a very nice week in the cottage. Everything one needs is there. A nice sofa to sit on, a good oven and good kitchen equipment to cook and good and especially comfortable beds. We loved the location, just two minutes from Stow centre, a very nice village. And a lof of nice pubs in the neighborhood called the Fox and Hound and the Horse and Groom. We loved it and were thankful to stay in this lovely cottage.
This cottage is amazing. As soon as walk in the door, the cottage charms make you feel at home. Great location for exploring the Coltswolds. I would highly recommend this cottage, we only stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed for longer.
South View Cottage was by far the best rental during a 1 month trip. Everything about the cottage was perfect from the cleanliness, the quaintness, the peaceful setting, and the location near the square. A highlight was the garden which is a walled, peaceful, beautiful oasis. The welcoming packet was a very nice touch and the caretakers were warm and friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone except someone with a handicap since the stairs are narrow and steep. I did not want to leave and I cannot wait to return.

My husband, 4 year old so, my mum and I stayed for a week at this lovely cottage. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived by how lovely all the rooms were decorated. A lovely touch was the welcome pack with milk, bread, butter and a bottle of wine (much appreciated). The top floor bedroom was a wow factor as it was spacious and beautifully furnished. The living room/dining room was really cosy and we made use of the games provided.
It was a home from home and the kitchen was well equipped.
The location was great and I drove to Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-on-the-Marsh, Burford, The Warwickshire steam railway, Adam Henson' s Farm and Upper and Lower Slaughter (all within easy distance).
We had good weather and made the most of the various attractions; I would love to return during warmer months but think a visit during the winter; using the wood burner would also be lovely too.
