“Beautiful cottage in town”

This is a beautiful little cottage in the middle of stow - the noise from the street is not too bad and the outside space in the back must be a gem in the summer. The wood burning stove adds a lovely touch this time of year - local pubs and cafés provide lots of non-self catering options if you need - would definitely stay again

“Whitsun Cottage was perfect for our needs, two expatriates catching up with UK family and friends.”
Reviewed 1 July 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We booked for three weeks and had four groups of friends staying with us. The cottage was perfect, and even better that there was a clothes washer and a dryer, which were used to good effect. The overflow was efficiently catered for by B&B's also in Sheep Street.

We never met the owner but appreciated keeping in touch via e-messages and were pleased to receive a welcome-gift at the start of each week.

Liked best: Being able to use the courtyard for both breakfast and supper - the great weather helped.
Liked least: Car parking was a hassle - but came withthe territory.

Myself and a group of friends stayed at Whitsun Cottage and used it as a base to travel to the races which is approximately 30 minutes away. The cottages facilities are excellent and are perfect should you wish to prepare your own meals or for a quick breakfast (which suited us).
The bedrooms were spacious and would be perfect for 4, the extra 2 beds on the landing are more than adequate and certainly suited our group booking, allowing 5 people to comfortably stay at the cottage.

Having 2 bathrooms certainly was an advantage when getting ready in the morning.

We find Stow a lovely market town with all the amenities you require for your stay in the Cotswolds.

“A Cotswold Gem in Stow on the Wold!”

We stayed at Whitsun Cottage with one other couple for 2 weeks. The whole stay was delightful. The house included everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and the fireplace was a special treat on cool evenings. The village square was just steps away with wonderful shops, terrific restaurants and of course, friendly pubs. The house had plenty of room for 4 people. Since we didn't have a car, we were happy to find bus service almost at our door. The only negative I would say would be the occasional traffic noise, but the rest of our visit here far outweighed that issue.

“Beautiful cottage in a great part of the Cotswold”

The cottage is beautiful! A cake and bottle of wine were waiting for us when we arrived, which was delicious and a wonderful touch.
Located right in the center of town, it was a great way to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and pubs.
Awesome walks within Stow, and a great location to walk to the other little towns (we did a long walk to Bourton on the water that took us through 4 other town... beautu)
Definitely recommended.
