“Lovely cottage, Home from Home”
Reviewed 3 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Just got home from a long weekend with friends at Wool cottage. 2 couples so the 2 bathrooms was perfect as was the 2 double beds. We all love walking so enjoyed the local walks through town and across fields following the river. Also. visited Buford, Byford Oxford and Marl bough on the way home for some retail therapy. So many amazing places close by needed a week really to visit all we wanted, a good excuse to book again. The cottage has all you need, all everyday appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher even a hamper on arrival with essentials such as bread, butter, marmalade ! , We loved every minute of our stay and can recommend the Bull Hotel and the Plough Inn for food, both very reasonable and food lovely. Lots of local pubs and restaurant in walking distance made this just perfect. Will definitely return.

“Perfect country cottage to explore the Cotswolds.”

Ideal country cottage with all mod cons. Was the perfect base for us as we were visiting relatives in Fairford so could walk everywhere. Two very good sized bedrooms and ensuites. Lovely light and airy kitchen/sitting room and was great to see chickens walking round the grounds in the morning. Lovely view across re meadows towards the Mill. The is only one negative and that is parking. We were lucky enough to get a space further along the road and didn't move the car as walked most of the weekend. It would be a great base for touring the Cotswolds.

I give the Wool Cottage the big thumps up. Felt like being in my own home. The welcome basket was lovely.

“Very welcoming atmosphere.”
Reviewed 20 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Lovely little cottage in an idyllic position in the small town of Fairford.
The cottage has been lovingly restored and is fitted out with a kitchen worthy of anyone's
home. Loads of worktops and cupboards. The quality of everything is extremely good.
The owners, Catherine and Clive, are very welcoming and ready to help in any way, if
needed.
We would like to think we may return one day.
All success to them both.

“Lovely little cottage”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Lovely little cottage located in the pretty village of Fairford and only a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Cirencester. Catherine the owner, who lives next door, is very welcoming and friendly and kindly lent me an umbrella when it rained. The cottage itself is very clean and we were impressed with the fact that it has two en suites.
