Description: With something for everyone you can enjoy well-kept cask ales and local ciders in the bar, dine in the attractive conservatory overlooking the cricket ground and pavilion, or relax in the beer garden. Our menu is made up of sensibly priced, delicious home cooked dishes, and offers plenty of choice from quick lunchtime snacks to full three course meals. We have an excellent reputation for our Sunday lunches and recently received full marks from the Gloucestershire Echo's mystery diner.

Handy location, nice garden at the back (away from road nosie) openiing onto the sports ground and play area. Decor not the newest, but homely. The food is GREAT - delicious tasing and huge portions.

Birthday dinner treat, lovely quiet location, but very easy to find.
Delicious prawns for a starter and the chef pie was excellent. Lasagna was clearly homemade and delicious. Pudding (Lemon posset) was scrummy but not needed due to very decent meal sizes.
Friendly and helpful staff, music not too loud and drink menu full of option but not too much.
A lovely evening.

Visited 9 September for Sunday lunch. Beef stringy and tough. Pudding - offered 2 types of cheesecake, brownie, banoffee pie, crumble. Waitress returned to say that the 2 requests for Raspberry cheesecake could not be provided until the Lemon cheesecake had been sold! Cancelled puddings. The crowning glory - you need to vacate your table by 1.45pm for the 2.00pm sitting. Customer service needs addressing. Have visited The Bell for the past 6yrs as we visit relatives in Cheltenham. The Bell has offered us as a group the facilities and foods required, but today was a disappointment both foodwise and service.

We came here as a family and found the food and service to be excellent. The menu was varied and catered well for those of us that don't eat meat. The service was attentive but not over bearing and the portions were excellent if not plentiful. We will definitely be visiting again.
