“Amazing cottage in town center!”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We were the first guests to rent the cottage after extensive renovations. Alison was an amazing and attentive hostess and the cottage was immaculate, comfortable, and extremely cozy. As it is a registered historical building the architecture made us feel as though we were living in the past - but with all modern comforts. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail in the décor was so very sweet. Of course, having a bathroom for each bedroom along with a 1/2 bath on the ground floor was a real delight.
You couldn't ask for a better location.as the cottage is on the main street of Bourton-on-the-Water. Ten steps to the right of the front door is a wonderful tea house we ate at for breakfast and lunch. Across the street are 1/2 dozen wonderful restaurants, and all shopping is all along the street. If you are driving - as we were - parking is limited. But Alison offered us free parking at her home which is a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

We would love to stay there again!

Thank you so much. You were wonderful first guests and a pleasure to host. Your appreciation of the cottage made all the hard renovation work worthwhile.

“Beautifully renovated period property in the heart of the village”
Reviewed 6 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at Vine House. The property has just under gone a recent refurbishment and the house was immaculate and clean. This is the perfect location for any Cotswold holiday, as the property is right in the centre of town and walking distance from local shops, pubs and restaurants. Vine house has a beautiful new fully fitted kitchen with everything you could wish for. There is a nice courtyard outside for sitting and relaxing in the sun, the weather whilst we were there made that not possible. Each of the bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds and all with en suite bathrooms. Each bathroom has been recently refurbished and were excellent and impressive, the showers were very powerful. The lounge is a good size but mind the low beam if you are tall, there is a modern smart TV should you need to watch it and the Wifi was very useful too. Overall a beautiful property which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It has everything you would need in the perfect location, highly recommended.
