“a peaceful spot”
Reviewed 5 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

The accommodation is perfect for two and is clean and well equipped.
Kineton village has a friendly pub with welcoming staff and we would also recommend The Hollow Bottom in nearby Guiting Power.
Jason's Apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the north Cotswolds. We enjoyed many delightful walks, some direct from the property while a variety of pretty circular walks are just a short drive away.

“All it promised in a beautiful area for walking.”
Reviewed 30 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The self contained apartment is part of the owners house but has its own entrance and a enclosed and secluded garden with garden furniture for eating, dreaming or chatting. It is situated in the very quiet hamlet of Kineton, which has a good pub , The Halfway House, serving decent food in a welcoming environment , and it's less than 100 yards away! The property is perfect for a couple. The nearest real shops are a 15 minute drive away in Bourton-on-the Water so make sure that you plan ahead for food etc. The area is wonderful for walkers with numerous footpaths and trails. Nearby Winchcombe is an excellent walking hub. There were no 'downside's- a rare experience for us.

“As described - a tranquil haven”

Mary and Martin gave us a very warm welcome which included a much appreciated welcome basket - the homemade bread was delicious! The accommodation was excellent - comfortable, warm, well equipped and with a garden area where we had lunch and where it would have been good to sit quietly and read, but we were too busy discovering the delights of the area. We enjoyed walking locally and by car it was very convenient for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds and farther afield. We have already told friends about this delightful property and hope to return ourselves for a longer stay.

“An absolutely lovely visit!”

We came up for a family wedding & found Jason's online. The accommodation was lovely & clean, well equipped with some wonderful welcoming touches from the owners. There was a fresh loaf of bread & basket of basics for breakfast which was lovely as we had none of these with us.

The best thing about the stay was the total peace and quiet with just birdsong and the wind to disturb the silence. This was so refreshing and time slowed giving our 4 night stay a much longer feel.

The owners Mary & Martin & their son Mark were very helpful & kind, welcoming us & helping us with our baggage. They were able to give us local information on where to eat & other facts about the area which we very much appreciated. They made our stay with them very special & would like to thank them for doing so much to ensure we had a lovely time.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment to stay for a short or longer visit and hope to return again in the future.
